Street Lighting Project in Shanyan Village, Youxi County, Sanming, Fujian

To further improve nighttime travel conditions for villagers and enhance the quality of the rural living environment, Banmian Town in Youxi County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, has implemented a street lighting project in Shanyan Village.

The project primarily involved the installation of 92 new streetlights, covering the main village roads and some public activity areas, with a total investment of approximately 130,000 yuan. Currently, the project has been fully completed and put into operation.

After the implementation of the project, the nighttime lighting conditions on Shanyan Village’s roads have significantly improved, effectively addressing the inconvenience of nighttime travel for residents. The overall appearance of the village and the sense of security have also been enhanced. Now, the bright streetlights not only illuminate the village at night but also bring warmth to the daily lives of the villagers. In the next step, Banmian Town will continue to promote initiatives aimed at addressing deficiencies in rural infrastructure, gradually expand the coverage of street lighting, improve long-term management and maintenance mechanisms, and continuously enhance the villagers' sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security.
