Leliu Street, Shunde District, Foshan will gradually replace energy-saving street lamps to achieve intelligent adjustment

"I live in the Chengnan community of Leliu Street. The lights on Xidi Road in Leliu are dim at night. There is insufficient light when driving or walking at night, which poses a traffic safety hazard. I hope the relevant departments can improve it." On May 28, in the "Political Style Hotline-People's Livelihood Zero Distance" program in Shunde District, Foshan City, Mr. He, a citizen, made suggestions on the lighting problems of Leliu Road.

In response, the relevant person in charge of the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Office of Leliu Street responded that the department recently conducted inspections on some major sections of the road and found that the street lights on Xidi Road in Leliu were dim. At present, relevant units have been contacted to conduct on-site investigations. It was found that the main reason was that the street lights on Xidi Road had been used for a long time and had aged, so the lights were dim.

Around this issue, the department is planning to replace new energy-saving lamps in this section in an orderly manner, and also connected to the "One-click City Control" Leliu Smart City Management Platform. Through this platform, the operation of street lights can be immediately understood. In the future, when street lamps are damaged or insufficiently bright, functional departments can immediately discover and eliminate hidden dangers through this platform.

Next, Leliu also plans to replace 5% of street lamps in the streets with smart street lamps every year and optimize the control boxes. These control boxes can be centrally controlled remotely to achieve full-area street lamp management and maintenance, greatly improving the service functions and problem handling capabilities of the urban management system.

At present, citizens have a large demand for street lamp lighting. Some citizens will go out early for morning exercises, while due to the development of the night economy, some citizens will go home late. Therefore, for the time when street lamps are turned on or off, smart street lamps need to self-adjust according to different seasons and brightness according to actual conditions.

The person in charge said that based on Leliu's "one-click city control" and smart street lamp platform, the intelligent adjustment of street lamp switch time can be carried out for sunrise and sunset time in summer and winter. This move can achieve energy saving and facilitate the city's management of lighting time, light brightness, etc.
