Lighting Project in Tangtou Village, Guixi City, Yingtan, Jiangxi

Recently, Tangtou Village in Wenfang Town, Guixi City, Yingtan, Jiangxi Province, has been actively advancing the "Lighting Project"-an initiative dedicated to serving the people-with a bustling scene at the construction site. In the village’s leisure corridor, construction workers are steadily installing solar-powered lights. This "Lighting Project" is hailed as Tangtou Village’s "Beacon of Livelihood," carrying profound significance.

It is reported that the "Lighting Project," as a key livelihood initiative in Tangtou Village, aims to tangibly improve nighttime lighting conditions in the village and further optimize its living and working environment. The project utilizes solar-powered lights, which are both energy-efficient and environmentally friendly while effectively reducing operational costs. These lights will be installed in gathering areas such as squares, bridgesides, and leisure corridors, achieving full coverage of lighting in the village’s main public spaces. This will provide greater safety for residents during nighttime activities like walking, cooling off, and socializing. Additionally, the village committee had previously collected extensive feedback from residents and carefully planned the lighting layout. During the construction process, they also strictly monitored the project’s quality and progress to ensure its smooth implementation.

"Before, when we went out for a walk after dinner, it would get dark quickly. Now, with the solar-powered light strips installed in the village, we feel safe even if we return home later from our walks," shared one villager. "These light strips make it convenient and safe to exercise and stroll in the evening. We’re grateful for the village’s consideration and for getting things done for us," added another, as villagers unanimously praised the newly illuminated village.

The "Lighting Project" in Tangtou Village has significantly improved the nighttime environment, allowing the rural nights to shed their darkness and embrace a "radiant attire."
