Ten thousand lights, ten thousand affections. In response to the country's requirements for the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of urban lighting, the continued promotion of the prosperity of the "night economy" and the addition of more "fireworks" to the city, Burqin County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, launched the energy-saving and efficient transformation project of road lighting facilities in its jurisdiction in 2023. On November 6, the reporter learned from the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Burqin County that the project has entered the final stage.
These two days, on both sides of Shenhu Road in Burqin County, construction workers are busy replacing street lights. This batch of lamps is not only novel in design and beautiful in shape, but also complements the architectural style of Kanas Tower Bridge. At the same time, it is equipped with the latest energy-saving and emission-reduction devices, which can reduce electricity usage while ensuring sufficient lighting. At that time, it will light up the "Burqin nightlife", creating a safe and comfortable night travel environment for residents and tourists, and improving the sense of gain and happiness of urban residents.
It is understood that a total of 180 street lamps have been upgraded and updated. At present, 70% of the task has been completed, and it is expected to be completed by November 20. Next, Burqin County plans to implement intelligent and energy-saving transformation of street lamp systems in other key sections, welcoming visitors from all directions with the brilliance of the star city and highlighting the charm of the fairy-tale Burqin city.
