Small street lights illuminate the "big" people's livelihood. In order to further strengthen rural infrastructure construction, solve the problems of villagers going out in the dark and difficult to travel, and eliminate the safety hazards of people's night travel, recently, Liuguang Town, Fengqiu County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, installed street lights on the village roads throughout the town to illuminate the "safe road" home for the masses.

In order to ensure that the street light installation project is scientific, reasonable and feasible, in the early stage of installation, the town government organized professionals to conduct detailed field surveys and planning of the road conditions in the town, actively measure the distance between street lights, preliminarily estimate the number of street lights, and formulate specific installation plans.

At the same time, considering the needs of energy conservation and emission reduction, the street lights installed this time all use high-efficiency and energy-saving solar street lights, which can not only effectively reduce energy consumption, but also reduce the later operating costs.

During the installation process, town and village cadres and volunteers brought tools and materials to various sections of the village and got busy. In the process of installing street lights, everyone had a clear division of labor and tacit cooperation. From digging pits, making cement piers to installing lamp poles and debugging lamps, every link was carried out meticulously.

"Summer harvest is coming, and there will be more people traveling and vehicles passing by at night. We seize the current favorable opportunity. The town government will purchase street lights and distribute them to each village. The village will organize the installation in time to ensure that the lighting project will be completed before the summer harvest and ensure the safety of people's travel."
