Since the rainy season, frequent precipitation and high air humidity may cause safety hazards of leakage on lamp poles. In order to timely discover and eliminate safety hazards, the Hengshui City Street Lamp Management Center has formulated a detailed action plan, subcontracting sections, assigning responsibilities to individuals, and implementing grid management. Patrol personnel strengthen patrol inspections, check each line and each lamp pole, and repair and inspect simultaneously. Once a leakage problem is found, the hidden danger account will be recorded immediately, and the rectification procedure will be started immediately, and the street lamp emergency repair professionals will perform troubleshooting.

Because the lamp poles are not energized during the day, the staff can only check after turning on the lights at night. At present, the center has completed the rectification of leakage of lamp poles within the urban management scope. Jia Pengcheng introduced that street lamps are the "eyes" of the city. In order to improve the urban lighting environment, the Municipal Street Lamp Management Center has continued to carry out the "Light Up the Way Home" campaign since this year, and strengthened the inspection, maintenance and management of street lamp facilities. In the first half of the year, more than 4,200 street lamps have been repaired, more than 3,200 meters of cables have been replaced, 179 new street lamp sources have been added, 440 LED energy-saving lamps have been replaced, 77 transformers have been inspected, and 94 distribution boxes have been inspected, ensuring that the lighting rate in the urban area is above 98%.

Hengshui Street Lamp Management Center also reminds the general public: When walking outdoors in thunderstorms, please do not approach live facilities such as lamp poles and transformers, and try to stay away from water near lighting facilities to prevent lightning strikes and heavy rains from causing discharge of live bodies and posing a threat to personal safety.
