Nanhai Village Lighting Project in Ma'an Town, Yilong County, Nanchong, Sichuan

On May 23, 2024, Sichuan Investment Group's Sichuan Investment Energy Company completed the completion acceptance of the Nanhai Village Lighting Project in Ma'an Town, Long County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. That night, the Sichuan Investment Energy Ma'an Town Nanhai Village Supporting Street Light Donation Ceremony was successfully held.

Deng Kai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Sichuan Investment Group, attended the ceremony and announced the lighting. Yan Qingquan, Member of the Standing Committee of Yilong County Party Committee and Executive Deputy County Magistrate, He Jinhui, Director of the Propaganda Department (Mass Organizations Work Department) of the Sichuan Investment Group Party Committee, and relevant leaders of Sichuan Investment Energy, Yilong County, and Ma'an Town attended.

The implementation of the project is a phased result of the pairing assistance between Sichuan Investment Energy and Ma'an Town. We closely combined the urgent needs of the 11 assisted villages and took the lead in implementing the Nanhai Village Lighting Project, focusing on solving the problem of nighttime road lighting that troubled the villagers and contributing Sichuan Investment to rural revitalization.

At about 20:00 in the evening, Deng Kai announced: Sichuan Investment Group supported the official lighting of the street lights in Nanhai Village, Yilong! There was applause and cheers at the scene. Nearly 100 solar street lights along 5 kilometers were collectively lit for the first time, protecting the villagers' travel. Dai Yong, secretary of the Nanhai Village Party Branch, said that there were no street lights in the village before, and it was inconvenient for villagers and students from several surrounding villages to go home at night. In addition, snakes often appeared, which posed a safety hazard. Thanks to Sichuan Investment Energy for donating street lights, we can travel more steadily and feel more secure at night.

After the ceremony, Deng Kai and his party also learned about the operation of the solar street lights in Nanhai Village. Relevant personnel from the Party and Mass Work Department of Sichuan Investment Energy, members of the party and government leadership team at home in Ma'an Town, and some town and village cadres and village representatives attended the donation ceremony.
