The project involved installing 600 LED national flag light boxes along a 7.978-kilometer stretch of National Highways G333 and G102. These light boxes are mainly distributed along the 5.8-kilometer section of the Songhua River Highway Bridge in Mulan County and other national highway sections, forming a road lighting system together with the existing streetlights. "Now when driving through this road at night, the national flag light boxes on both sides are particularly eye-catching. The visibility is better, and I feel much safer," said Zhang Haikuan, a truck driver who frequently travels this route.

According to a relevant official from the Mulan County Transport Bureau, the installation of these national flag light boxes not only enhances nighttime road visibility but also improves the sense of safety for travelers. Many residents have made special trips to take photos, turning this illuminated road section into a new window showcasing the urban and rural landscape of Mulan.

In the future, the Mulan County Transport Bureau will establish a regular inspection and maintenance mechanism to ensure the long-term integrity of the light boxes, allowing them to continue serving their dual functions of safety reminders and landscape enhancement.
