The recently released "2021 China Night Economy Latest Development Report" shows that in 2020, the scale of my country's night economy has exceeded 30 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%, and it is expected to increase to 36 trillion yuan in 2021.

The development of the night economy is inseparable from lighting. LED lighting and LED display are important elements for maintaining the order of economic life at night and creating nighttime scenery. According to industry insiders, the holding of large-scale events such as the European Cup and the Winter Olympics will stimulate a sharp rebound in LED display demand. At the same time, as the cost of LED technology matures, new downstream application markets are gradually opening up.

In addition, in foreign countries, on June 12, the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Texas ruled that Supervision’s accusation of Chinese LED companies infringing its patents raised by Supervision was invalid, and Chinese LED companies did not constitute patent infringement. This news is also positive for the formation of related exports of domestic LED industry enterprises.

Among the A-share listed companies, Leyard (300296) is a domestic leader in the field of LED video and information release display screens. Recently, Leyard has accepted research from nearly 100 institutions. The company said that this year will focus on launching Micro LED and LED conferences. Four products, including all-in-one, transparent screen, and independent controllable display system, among which the transparent screen is expected to increase in growth this year. In addition, Lijing, in which Leyard holds 50% of its shares, began its expansion plan at the end of last year and is currently expanding production as scheduled.
