OSRAM and Dongbei Optoelectronics sign white LED patent license agreement

Osram, Germany, has signed a licensing agreement with Taiwan-based LED manufacturer Dongbei Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. to license the use of Osram's patented LED technology for the production of white LED light-emitting devices. The technology in the LED industry is widely used in the production of white LED products, the principle of the blue LED chips issued by the blue part of the phosphor after the conversion of light color, and no light-color conversion of blue light mixed into white.
