OSRAM install LED lamps for BMW factory

The first stage of this LED lighting project has already begun, the special lamps have been installed in the BMW Group in Dinggefen and Regensburg factory. As for the Ding Gefen, OSRAM installed as many as 70,000 LED lamps. The installation of these modern lamps to the factory, instead of the original lighting, only a simple installation work, OSRAM will soon complete the progress of this phase.

In addition, the original relay systems from these plants originated from Siteco, a subsidiary of OSRAM, some of which were installed decades ago, but these have proved to be very easy to replace.

In the trunk, OSRAM engineering team retained the main wire system, only replaced the lamp accessories. The original lighting fixtures, including fluorescent lamps, accessories and controls, were simply connected as "covers" to the trunks, which are now all replaced by modern LED technology. Simply "plug and play" eliminates the need for additional circuit installation during installation.

In fact, in 2015, Osram has BMW Group is located in the Ding Gefen warehouse, all modified LED lighting. In this project, about 6,000 lamps will be installed in the new logistics hall, the actual validation and efficiency also meet the requirements of BMW. So they have the follow-up to this expansion of the order.
