According to reports, the Skyworth Wuhan project has a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan and covers an area of about 350 acres. It will build five modern intelligent factories, R&D centers and related supporting facilities. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in the second quarter of 2023. The park has an estimated number of 2,000 employees. After completion, it will be mainly engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and sales of Mini LED backlight modules and Mini LED display terminals.

Mini LED is a new era display technology with outstanding advantages in terms of display, performance, cost, and application. Compared with traditional LED-backlit TVs, Mini　LED TVs have higher imaging contrast, color reproduction, and brightness. Taking a 65-inch TV as an example, a traditional LED-backlit TV has about 500 light particles, while a Mini LED TV has 15,000 light particles, which can bring better definition, greatly improve contrast and transmittance.
