The first smart street light demonstration road in Shiyan, Hubei Province was officially put into use before the National Day holiday
Recently, if you walk in Liulingou, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, you will find that the light poles on both sides of the road have quietly "transformed." These are the first batch of smart street lights that will be "on duty" in the city.

On September 21, I saw on Liulin Road that brand-new street light poles were neatly arranged on both sides of the road. An LED display screen was erected on the pole body. Technicians were making final adjustments through their mobile phones.
According to reports, smart street lights "play multiple roles" and integrate road lighting, wireless networks, multimedia information release, emergency broadcasting, intelligent control and other functions.
Wang Kui, a construction technician on Liulin Road smart street lamps, said that unlike traditional light bulbs, smart lamps are composed of small lamps. The number of lights can be controlled according to the environment and the flow of people and vehicles, thereby achieving a green and low-light Carbon concept. The white one is the WiFi router of the smart street light. After the later network debugging is completed, citizens can receive the WiFi brought by the router on Liulin Road. There is also an LED screen that can play public welfare videos, emergency broadcasts, etc.
There are also multiple card slots reserved on the street light poles to prepare for the subsequent connection of more smart devices. After being put into use, staff can remotely control all aspects of these street lights.
It is understood that a total of 40 smart street lights have been installed on 1.8 kilometers of Liulin Road. This is also the first road in Shiyan City to install smart street lights.
At present, these street lights only have the lighting function enabled. After all functions are debugged, they will be put into use before National Day.
