The night scene lighting between Xintang and Sanbao ship locks in the east section of Hangzhou Canal City will be newly installed

In order to create a beautiful lighting scene at night and enrich the sightseeing experience of cruise ships at night, the Hangzhou Urban Management Bureau will brighten and upgrade many bridges on the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal to show the unique charm of Hangzhou Poetry and Painting Jiangnan. At the end of last year, the picturesque new night scene of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal was "online" as scheduled. LED energy-saving technology was used to reproduce the long scroll of ink painting, depicting the poetic and picturesque Jiangnan scene of white walls, black tiles, small bridges and flowing water along the canal.

This time, in order to create the same wonderful lighting scene at night, Hangzhou Urban Management Bureau will upgrade the lighting of Xintang Bridge, Yanjia Bridge, Tanhua'an Bridge and Jingyu Bridge between Xintang and Sanbao Shiplock in the east section of the Canal City , in order to better show the unique charm of Hangzhou Poetry and Painting Jiangnan.

Xintang Bridge (also known as Rainbow Bridge) is a single-span under-braced steel arch bridge, located at the intersection of Xintang Road and the canal. The design of the bridge itself has modern elements such as long-span red bridge arches. The special mixed light white light projection is used in the lighting design to highlight the original color of the bridge arch, so that it also has beautiful colors at night, which looks fashionable and elegant, reflecting the bridge modern beauty.

The Epiphyllum Bridge also uses white floodlights to illuminate the lake-blue bridge arch, which contrasts with the lush trees and clear water along the canal, creating a comfortable and natural beauty of the canal.

The bridge guardrail of Yanjia Bridge has a large number of slate patterns, and the whole surface is illuminated with warm white wall washer, presenting an elegant and simple atmosphere, which increases the sense of history and weight of the bridge.

Jingyu Bridge is the first bridge after entering the Sanbao Ship Lock. It stands like a lighthouse on the canal, and it is very spectacular to watch the bridge by boat. When designing lighting, more consideration should be given to using multi-color lamps to create iconic landscape scenes. By installing spotlights on the poles on both sides of the bridge, the overall lighting method can be used to shape the image of iconic buildings at night.
