The streetlights on the northern extension of Xichang Street in Lingwu City, Yinchuan, have undergone a systematic upgrade

To ensure the safety of citizens traveling at night and resolve the issue of malfunctioning solar streetlights on the northern extension of Xichang Street (between Dianchang Road and Wutong Road), the Lingwu City Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau of Yinchuan took proactive measures and implemented a maintenance and upgrade project for the solar streetlights on this section of the street.

This maintenance and upgrade project comprehensively optimized the streetlight system on this section of the street. The project included: Pole maintenance: Rust removal and painting of the existing 30 solar streetlight poles to extend their lifespan; Lighting upgrade: Upgrading the existing streetlights to 150W LED lights with integrated circuits to improve brightness; Adding new streetlights: Adding 10 new streetlights to expand the lighting coverage and optimize the streetlight layout; Foundation reinforcement: Reconstructing the concrete foundations for 40 streetlight poles to provide a solid guarantee for the stable operation of the streetlights; Cable laying: Excavating and backfilling cable trenches and laying 1300 meters of cable and conduit to improve the power system.

Through intensive construction, the renovation and upgrading project of solar streetlights on the northern extension of Xichang Street has been successfully completed and is now fully operational, greatly improving nighttime travel conditions for citizens and reducing the risk of traffic accidents. Next, our bureau will continue to strengthen the management, maintenance, and inspection of existing streetlight facilities to ensure they are always lit, illuminating the "lights of satisfaction" in the hearts of the people with concrete actions.
