Philips Lighting donated energy-saving LED bulbs for Xiangxi Miaojia

Philips Lighting will donate 10,000 energy-saving LED bulbs to Xiangxi poor villages through the project, improving lighting conditions for more than 2100 households, involving nearly ten thousand people. National Energy Conservation Center, China Energy Conservation Association, Xiangxi Provincial People's Government, Development and Reform Commission, Energy Conservation Center, China Environmental Protection Foundation and other relevant departments of the leadership and guests attended the event.

Hunan Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of ramming village, Yuejin Village and other eight villages are state-level poverty-stricken counties, the total population of nearly ten thousand people. Most of the villagers use the traditional high-energy lighting products, lighting, electricity consumption in the family accounted for a large proportion of the overall energy consumption. In understanding the local demand for energy-saving environmental protection products, the National Development and Reform Commission under the guidance of the Department of Environmental Protection, the National Energy Conservation Center and the China Energy Conservation Association jointly launched a donation to the local energy-saving LED bulbs project. The project has been welcomed by Xiangxi Provincial People's Government and Xiangxi Energy Conservation Center, and Philips Lighting has successfully responded to the call by the China Environmental Protection Foundation. All parties have worked together to plan the donation project.
