More than 20 solar LED street lights make it more convenient for villagers in four natural villages in Meizhou, Guangdong to travel

The reporter learned that before, the Fenglang Town Working Team learned during the visit that a section of the mechanized farming road in Shangping Village, Xibeiping Village, and some village roads in the three natural villages of Lingxiatian, Shangwuzi, and Shidu Farm had not been installed with street lights. The darkness at night brought many inconveniences to the production and life of the villagers, and the villagers were in urgent need of installing street lights. Although the local village committee has raised some funds, there is still a large funding gap to complete the street light installation project, so they asked the working team for help, hoping to solve this livelihood problem.

After understanding the situation, the Fenglang Town Working Team quickly reported the situation to the rear group unit-Guangzhou Haizhu District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau and applied. Haizhu District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau attached great importance to this and immediately allocated 30,000 yuan of self-raised funds to help the four natural villages carry out road lighting projects. With the efforts of all parties and intensive construction, more than 20 solar street lights have been installed one after another.

"These solar street lights can store electricity during the day and automatically illuminate at night, not only illuminating everyone's way out, but also saving the village from paying a penny for electricity." Local villagers said gratefully, "This year, the villagers who went out to celebrate the New Year no longer have to worry about walking at night." This road lighting project has benefited more than 2,000 villagers and greatly improved the villagers' night travel conditions.
