Lighting Project for Old Residential Area Renovation in Badong County, Enshi Prefecture, Hubei

At the construction site of the lighting project for the old residential area renovation in Xirangpo area, Badong County, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province, the construction team from the Badong County Street Light Management Office is currently installing facade floodlights.

It is reported that the lighting project for the old residential area renovation in Xirangpo area is divided into eastern and western sections, with the Badong Yangtze River Bridge serving as the boundary. The project covers 43 buildings with a total investment of 13.85 million yuan. It primarily includes building lighting arrangements, lighting distribution, and a remote intelligent control system. Adhering to green principles, the project innovatively applies new technologies and light sources. By installing energy-efficient LED fixtures and dot-matrix devices, it creates visual scenes that accurately convey the city’s core positioning of vitality and ecological construction. The lighting system integrates wall washers, floodlights, linear lights, and point light sources, working in organic coordination with the building facades to create a multi-dimensional lighting effect with rich layers and a cohesive overall appearance. The ultimate goal is to achieve an immersive lighting experience that "shapes scenes with light, interprets scenes with color, and reflects scenes with water."

The project, which commenced in January this year, has currently completed 30% of the total workload. It is expected that all building lighting arrangements and circuit installations will be finished by the end of December this year. The new lighting and nightscapes will provide tourists and residents with an unprecedented recreational experience, further highlighting the unique charm of the "Gorge River Painting City."
