The Baiqiao Service Area on the Baomao Expressway in Gaozhou, Maoming, Guangdong, has begun a lighting test

Red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, and pink-beautiful lights and shadows shift across the night sky. On the evening of May 13th, the 16th day of the fourth lunar month, the Baiqiao Service Area on the Baomao Expressway, under construction by Guangdong Transportation Group, underwent a full system lighting test. The "Lychee Dome" of the main building in the west section of the Baiqiao Service Area resembles a giant lychee fruit suspended in the night sky, creating a striking contrast with the full moon.

The Baiqiao Service Area is Guangdong Province's first lychee-themed service area and a landmark project that has achieved initial success in three years in promoting the "High-Quality Development Project for Hundred Counties, Thousands of Towns, and Tens of Thousands of Villages." Li Jun, project manager for the Baiqiao Service Area, stated that the service area, designed with the concept of "the charm of lychee country, a unique lychee blossom," deeply integrates Maoming's millennium-old lychee culture with modern technology to create a comprehensive service area integrating leisure, tourism, shopping, and cultural experiences, offering passengers a brand-new travel experience that goes beyond just a stopover.

Ma Zhaohui, the Poly Changda Project Manager in charge of the Baiqiao Service Area construction, explained that the "Lychee Dome" is composed of nearly a thousand micro-beam projectors weaving a three-dimensional light network. The seven primary colors-red, yellow, and green-follow each other seamlessly at millisecond speeds, creating a flowing "lychee shell" visual effect.

In addition to the "Lychee Dome," 70 sets of intelligent laser-linked water curtain stages transform the parking lot into a theater of light and shadow. Linear LEDs on the ground meander like liquid metal, transforming the pedestrian plaza into a smart maze of light. Illuminated by the lights, the Baiqiao Service Area at night appears as a dazzling amber.
