Streetlights Illuminate Major Livelihoods in Xingyan Village, Dazou Town, Xinghua City, Taizhou, Jiangsu Province

The newly elected village committee of Xingyan Village, Dazou Town, Xinghua City, Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, prioritized the village's public lighting coverage project as a key initiative, effectively addressing villagers' nighttime travel difficulties and responding to their concerns with heartwarming measures.

The existing streetlights in Xingyan Village were aging, creating blind spots in many sections, causing inconvenience and safety hazards for villagers. Repairing the streetlights became a shared expectation. The village committee acted swiftly, implementing multiple measures to ensure the lighting project's success: organizing party members, cadres, and grid workers to conduct nighttime surveys and establish a problem log; scientifically planning the locations of 35 new streetlights based on the village layout and villagers' travel patterns; standardizing construction procedures, inspecting and replacing aging wiring, and strictly controlling project quality; and inviting veteran party members and enthusiastic villagers to serve as volunteer supervisors, organizing villagers to evaluate and fine-tune the lighting after completion to ensure optimal illumination.

Next, the Xingyan Village Committee will take this lighting project as an opportunity to always put the needs of the people first, take root in the places where the people need it most, and do every practical thing for the people's livelihood with heart and soul. They will contribute to the development of the village with concrete actions, making the village more livable and the people more united.
