Standard Two-Component Condensation-Curable Silicone Potting Adhesive for LED Lamps Released

According to the official website of the National Group Standard Information Platform, the group standard T/FSI 197-2026, Two-Component Condensation-Curable Silicone Potting Adhesive for LED Lamps, issued by the China Fluorosilicone Organic Materials Industry Association, has been officially released recently and will come into force on December 31 this year.

Jointly drafted by three institutions: Jiangxi Bluestar Xinghuo Silicone Co., Ltd., China Bluestar Chengrand Research & Design Institute of Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., and China Bluestar Chengrand Chengdu Testing Technology Co., Ltd., this standard specifies the technical requirements for two-component condensation-curable silicone potting adhesives used in LED lamps, defines corresponding test methods, and sets requirements for inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage. It is applicable to two-component condensation-curable silicone potting adhesives for potting of LED lamps and outdoor display screens.

The formulation and issuance of this standard will accelerate the transformation of the lighting industry from "price competition" to "competition based on technical matching". It urges upstream material enterprises to boost R&D investment, and guides downstream lamp manufacturers to select materials according to clear working condition parameters, so as to comprehensively enhance the international competitiveness of Chinese lighting products.
