Streetlights in Jieshou City, Fuyang, Anhui Province, Get a "Renewal"

Jieshou City in Fuyang, Anhui Province, recently completed an energy-saving upgrade of 323 streetlights along four main urban roads, simultaneously addressing lighting blind spots in back streets and alleys. This refined urban management aims to ensure the safety of residents' nighttime travel.

The upgrade replaced all the outdated high-pressure sodium lamps in the urban area with energy-saving LED lights, effectively solving problems such as dim lighting, high energy consumption, and poor illumination. The upgraded streetlights are brighter and have more uniform light distribution, with overall energy consumption reduced by approximately 50%. This will save tens of thousands of yuan annually in electricity and maintenance costs, achieving a dual improvement in both convenient lighting and energy conservation.

While upgrading the main streetlights, the local government established a routine lighting inspection and maintenance mechanism. Comprehensive inspections are conducted in back streets and alleys, densely populated residential areas, and recreational areas to accurately identify weak and blind spots in lighting. Streetlights are promptly installed or added to eliminate nighttime travel safety hazards and ensure a safe summer night for residents.
