BRICS Semiconductor Lighting Standardization Expert Seminar Held

On July 14, the BRICS Semiconductor Lighting Standardization Expert Seminar was held online and offline. More than 40 people from China, Brazil, Russia, India, South Africa and other BRICS standardization institutions and enterprises, experts, scholars and representatives of the BRICS Semiconductor Lighting Cooperation Working Group attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the representatives of the BRICS countries shared the paths and methods of integrating their own semiconductor lighting technology and standardization, and jointly discussed how to quickly transform the innovative semiconductor lighting technology of the BRICS countries into standards to promote the healthy development of the industry. The meeting also conducted in-depth discussions on 4 proposals for semiconductor lighting international standards including "Technical Requirements for Multifunctional Smart Light Pole" and "Energy Efficiency Requirements for LED Lighting Products", as well as the establishment of a BRICS Standardization Working Group for Semiconductor Lighting, and reached a broad consensus.

This meeting is one of the 2022 BRICS standardization exchange and cooperation series activities, and is also a supporting meeting of the BRICS Standardization Cooperation Ministerial Conference. Promote the joint participation of BRICS countries in international standardization activities and form more standardization cooperation results.
