Chifeng street lighting project in Inner Mongolia lights up the roads for people to travel

On October 24, after more than 50 days of intense construction, the street lights in Mengzhong Street (from Xinhui Road in the south to Erzhong Xiaoqiao Road in the north) in Xinhuicheng District, Aohan Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were all lit.

It is understood that in recent years, the street lights in this section have not been on due to factors such as disrepair, aging lines, and defective lamp heads, which has brought great inconvenience to nearby residents, teachers and students traveling at night. This year, the Banner Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau continued to deepen the "I do practical things for the masses" campaign and actively sought to invest more than 500,000 yuan to build 38 new Mengzhong Street street lights and re-lay 1,730 meters of cables. When the street lights turn on, it becomes more convenient for residents to travel, which enhances the people's sense of gain, happiness, security and identity.
