Dangui Bridge light and water show in Xianning, Hubei makes stunning debut

At about 7 pm on November 20, the Dangui Bridge in Xianning City, Hubei Province completed the final test of the light and water show.

At night, dozens of water jets spray out from the upper reaches of Dangui Bridge, dancing with the changing lights, sometimes undulating like waves, sometimes jumping like piano keys, bringing a visual feast of light and shadow, attracting citizens to stop and watch.

"The lighting improvement of Dangui Bridge is one of the projects of the Dangui Bridge renovation project." The relevant person in charge of the Project Bureau of the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau said that the renovation of Dangui Bridge began in August 2022 and was completed in January this year. The project applied many new technologies and new designs, it has become a landscape bridge in the urban area.

Among them, at the beginning of the design, the special geographical location of Dangui Bridge and the overall effect after the renovation were fully taken into consideration, and key requirements were set for night scene lighting.

The Dangui Bridge, which has been brightened and upgraded, is like wearing a moving colorful coat. Designers said that the Dangui Bridge lighting and water dance design adopts the themes of osmanthus yellow and hot spring blue. The guardrails and bottom of the bridge are designed with 3000K color temperature floodlights, and the sides of the bridge and the river coastlines on both sides are designed with lake blue light.

On the bridge on the upstream side, a row of bridge light and water dance shows are designed to match the Ganhe Music Fountain. When the musical fountain is turned on, the light and water dance show on the bridge can dance at the same frequency as the musical fountain through the program control system, and connect with the nearby light landscape to form a beautiful picture.
