Wagner Cultivation (JWC) announced that it has reached a cooperative product test and evaluation agreement with Fluence Bioengineering, a horticultural lighting company under Osram, to provide information on the performance, functionality and applicability of Fluence VYPR 2p wide-spectrum LED lighting solutions. feedback.

According to the agreement, JWC will conduct an 8-month analysis to evaluate whether JWC can further improve its high energy efficiency level by using lighting equipment provided by Fluence to help it optimize the cultivation performance of its JWC2 flagship plant in Ontario, Canada.

Throughout the duration of the agreement, Fluence will visit JWC to assist JWC with data collection, train on the best methods of growing plants using LED lighting solutions, and provide advice on climate parameters to promote optimal plant growth. And JWC will provide Fluence with data analysis on the cultivation performance of flower houses using Fluence lighting solutions.

If the ultimate goal can be achieved, JWC said, the company will be able to reduce production costs and increase yield per plant. If the project can successfully meet the standards stipulated in the agreement, JWC intends to expand its cooperation with Fluence by purchasing certain equipment from Fluence.
