Guangzhou promotes 8 lighting improvement projects

Recently, the Guangzhou Public Resource Trading Center issued the “Tender Notice for the General Contractor for the Survey and Design of the Lighting Safety Reconstruction Project of the Important Overpass in the Central City” and the “Tender Notice for the General Contractor for the Survey and Design of the Pearl River Embankment Functional Lighting Construction Project”. According to the bidding documents, Guangzhou plans to invest 430 million yuan this year to promote 8 lighting projects.

The Pearl River embankment functional lighting construction project is located in the west channel, the front channel and the rear channel of the Guangzhou waterway. The project scope includes the left bank Xinfenggang terminal-Zengbu River mouth section shoreline; the Datansha Island shoreline; the Yagang Wenbi sluice-Shijing cement plant section Shoreline; Right Bank Jinshazhou Bridge - Hongtai Jinshazhou sports field shoreline, etc., with a total length of about 37.47km (line measurement scale); design and construction of the above-mentioned embankment functional lighting facilities and their power distribution system. An independent lighting control system is set up, and the existing lighting master control system of the city lighting center can be connected to realize remote control.

The important overpass lighting safety renovation project in the central city area is to add important lights such as Panfu Interchange, Changgang Interchange, Kecun Interchange, Nanzhou Interchange, Tianhe Interchange, etc. through the interchange road, adding street lamps or garden lights, and adding ceiling lamps or wall lamps at the bottom of the bridge. On the bridge side, the work content of the line type floodlights or wall lamps is used to solve the problem of insufficient illumination, and the lighting fixtures, lines, and distribution facilities with safety hazards are simultaneously safely reconstructed, and the total road length (line measurement scale) is about 5.7 kilometers. Independent lighting control system is set up, and the existing lighting master control system of the lighting center can be connected to realize remote control.

In addition, according to the bidding materials provided by the two projects, Guangzhou plans to invest a total investment of 4,314,420 yuan this year to upgrade the lighting of 8 projects.
