Renovation of 100 municipal road lighting systems in Guangzhou

Recently, the Guangzhou City Central District Road Lighting Improvement Project (Phase II) was launched, which will upgrade some sections of Guangzhou without street lights and need to be rectified.

The project construction scope includes about 100 municipal road functional lighting and its supporting lighting distribution system in Tianhe District, Baiyun District, Yuexiu District, Liwan District and Haizhu District of Guangzhou.

It is understood that the 100 municipal roads to be upgraded include various types of travel spaces such as trunk roads, village roads, community plazas and subway stations. Among them: 19 Baiyun District, including Baiyun Avenue North, Airport Road, etc.; 21 Haizhu District, including the bottom of Pazhou Bridge, Guangzhou Avenue South, etc.; 24 Liwan District, including Zhongshan 8 Road, Dongfeng West Road, etc.; 19 Tianhe District, Including the Metro Liede Station Exit C, Zhujiang New Town Station Exit A1; Yuexiu District, including Xiaobei Road.

Urban lighting is an important part of urban public facilities. However, there are still problems in Guangzhou that the lighting of individual road sections is not matched, the illumination is insufficient, and the lack of maintenance and management leads to the lack of street lights. Therefore, Guangzhou will build and renovate street lights for municipal sections without street lights within the construction area.

In addition, the project will also set up an independent lighting control system, and can access the existing lighting control system of the Guangzhou Lighting Construction Management Center to achieve remote control.
