Lighting Renovation of Huaxi West Road, Yizheng City, Yangzhou, Jiangsu

On March 22, the lighting upgrading and renovation project of Huaxi West Road (Chemical Fiber Section) in Yizheng City, Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, was successfully completed. Previously, the road suffered from insufficient nighttime lighting and dim road surface brightness, causing inconvenience to students from nearby schools commuting home after evening self-study and posing potential safety hazards. To effectively address the urgent concerns and practical difficulties of local residents, Jianyang Municipal Engineering, a subsidiary of the Group, responded promptly to people’s livelihood demands, quickly formulated a special rectification plan, and pushed forward with on-site implementation.

Officially launched on March 16, the renovation project adhered to the work principle of targeted light supplementation, quality improvement and efficiency enhancement. Based on the original streetlight layout, aiming at dark lighting areas, 4 sets of 50W LED courtyard lamps were newly installed between existing street lamps, with approximately 80 meters of supporting pipelines laid simultaneously, thoroughly eliminating road lighting blind spots. Meanwhile, all original street lamp fixtures on the road were fully replaced. The light source power was upgraded from the original 60W to 120W, which greatly strengthened the lighting effect of the main road, significantly improved road illuminance and light uniformity, and optimized the nighttime traffic environment.

Going forward, Jianyang Municipal Engineering will further strengthen the daily inspection and maintenance of road lighting facilities, ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of urban lighting equipment, and earnestly safeguard citizens’ travel safety at night.
