Nightscape Lighting Project Completed for Fuzhou Zuohai Park Ferris Wheel
The illuminated Ferris wheel at Zuohai Park now stands as a landmark night view within the "Greater West Lake" scenic area. After being temporarily unavailable to the public for several months due to upgrade work, this iconic sight has made a splendid return.

The newly completed night lighting project for the Ferris wheel has officially resumed regular operation during the holiday. It was also announced that the upgrade of the Ferris wheel has been fully completed, with the new wheel expected to officially begin operation on May Day.
A representative from the operating team stated, "The night lighting project utilizes advanced LED technology, with nearly ten thousand LED bulbs 'embedded' on the Ferris wheel, offering the public a vibrant and colorful light show." It is reported that following the holiday lighting period, the new Ferris wheel will be illuminated daily from 19:00 to 21:00.
Originally opened in 1995, the 42-meter-high Zuohai Park Ferris wheel was the first high-altitude Ferris wheel in Fuzhou's city center. Over its nearly 30 years of operation, it has attracted countless visitors and holds cherished memories for many residents.
As the equipment reached the end of its service life, the operator initiated a "remove and replace" upgrade project last November to provide a better experience for visitors. The new Ferris wheel now stands 49 meters tall, features 32 cabins-up from the previous number-and has shifted from an oval to a teardrop-shaped cabin design. This refreshed and upgraded Ferris wheel promises an even more spectacular viewing and riding experience for visitors.
