Sichuan Zigong's 867-Meter Binhu Road Lighting Project Resolves Residents' Concerns

Recently, the newly constructed and upgraded Nanhu Area Improvement Project in Zigong City, Sichuan Province, undertaken by Chengdu Construction Group’s Ya’an Company, received an honorary banner from Jinghu Community in Hongqi Subdistrict, Zigong High-Tech Zone. This banner not only reflects high trust in the project’s safety standards but also recognizes the team’s outstanding efforts in addressing residents’ pressing concerns with a strong sense of responsibility.

“Finally, with streetlights installed, walking at night feels much safer!” These days, such words of approval from residents along Binhu Road are often heard in Jinghu Community, Hongqi Subdistrict, Zigong High-Tech Zone.

Recently, the Ya’an Company completed the lighting and traffic safety control system installation, along with cable laying, for Binhu Road-a branch road of Nanhu Park under the Nanhu Area Improvement Project. The 867-meter-long Binhu Road, now illuminated by 35 newly installed streetlights, has resolved long-standing nighttime travel difficulties for over 30 households and pedestrians.

Constructed in 2000, Binhu Road was initially a quiet backstreet with minimal nighttime lighting needs. However, as urban development progressed, it gradually became a major thoroughfare with increasing traffic. The lack of streetlights not only inconvenienced residents but also raised the risk of accidents, posing safety threats. Thanks to the joint efforts of Jinghu Community and local residents, the lighting project was completed by late March-over 20 days ahead of schedule.

Today, Binhu Road shines brightly at night, ensuring safer and more convenient travel while effectively resolving residents’ urgent concerns.
