Yushan Subdistrict in Jinan's Pingyin County Lights Up Warm-Hearted Streetlamps

Recently, Tianshan Village in Yushan Subdistrict, Pingyin County, Jinan City, faced lighting challenges as its aging wired streetlamps-weathered by years of exposure-had either failed or dimmed significantly, leaving roads dangerously dark at night. This posed particular difficulties for elderly residents and children.

Determined to address this critical livelihood issue, Tianshan Village's "Two Committees" proactively consulted villagers, gathering input from party members and resident representatives. The collective decision was made to replace all defunct wired lamps with solar alternatives using village funds.

With 17,500 yuan allocated, 25 solar streetlights were promptly purchased and installed by workers on existing poles. These luminous upgrades do more than brighten paths-they warm hearts. Moving forward, Tianshan Village remains committed to identifying and resolving residents' practical needs, steadfastly enhancing villagers' sense of security, satisfaction, and wellbeing.
