Currently, the smart lighting monitoring system for street lamps has been put into use in various districts of Xiamen City. After being transformed into a smart lighting monitoring system, it can realize functions such as remote switching of lights, automatic fault alarms, and on-demand lighting. The energy saving rate can reach more than 70%, which effectively improves the refined management level of urban street lights.

A total of 5000 street lights in Xiamen Tong'an District use this smart lighting monitoring system. At the end of May, 60 smart street lights will be put on the Zhongshan Road in Tongan District. This is also the first time that smart street lights have been put into use in Fujian. In addition, these batches of smart street lights will be equipped with 5G base stations, which can achieve 5G coverage.

It is understood that smart street lights will integrate PLC, wireless Wi-Fi and other technologies, including smart lighting, smart monitoring, smart sensing, smart charging, smart alarm and other functions.

It can not only monitor PM2.5, radiation conditions, temperature, wind speed, rainfall and other environmental sensing information in real time, provide real-time monitoring of environmental protection parameters, but also install a security monitoring system to achieve real-time monitoring, face recognition, flow monitoring, location tracking; In addition, it can also realize Wi-Fi hotspot connection, broadcast important information such as weather, traffic, and news through LED display, and have functions such as providing paid charging for electric vehicles, and one-button emergency alarm.
