Taichung Port Affairs Company refits LED lamps

The next day, Taichung Port Affairs Branch replaced the indoor lighting and other LED lighting fixtures. Over the past two years, more than 2,600 groups of LED lighting fixtures have been completely replaced to improve office environment lighting and save energy.

About 1,007 sets of lamps and lanterns for the harbour building and indoor parking lot will be replaced.

Taichung Port Affairs Branch stated that LED light products are green lighting and consume half of the power of fluorescent lamps. If 80 watts (W) of traditional lamps are used for 8 hours a day, the replacement of 1600 sets last year can save 186,880 kWh, reducing electricity costs by about 840,000 yuan, which is equivalent to purchasing 1,000 LED flat lamps, and the cost can be recovered in about 1.5 years.

This year, we will continue to replace 1,007 sets of lamps and lanterns such as the harbor building and three-dimensional parking lot, which can save about 117,530 kWh of electricity and save 520,000 yuan in electricity costs each year. The most important thing is that the LED lamp converts electrical energy into light energy to achieve the best light, plus the life is about 10 times that of traditional fluorescent lamps, and the energy saving and recycling benefits are amazing.
