Lighting Renovation and Upgrade in Xinkengshui Village, Dalong Subdistrict, Panyu District, Guangzhou

To thoroughly implement the deployment of the Hundred-County, Thousand-Town, Ten-Thousand-Village High-Quality Development Project, and effectively improve the village appearance as well as villagers’ quality of life, a lighting upgrading project has been fully completed recently. The project was funded with an investment of 2.8 million yuan by Guangzhou Panyu Information Technology Investment & Development Co., Ltd., and constructed by Xinkengshui Village, Dalong Subdistrict, Panyu District, Guangzhou.On the morning of March 13, an unveiling ceremony was held at the village’s Ecological Park. Upon completion and operation, the project has greatly improved the landscape quality of key areas including the Village Committee, Xinkengshui Park, Xinkengshui Ecological Park, Beidi Square and Shuilian Avenue. It optimizes the nighttime travel environment, beautifies the overall village look, and marks a major achievement in improving the living environment and building a livable, business-friendly and harmonious countryside.

At the ceremony, a person in charge of the General Party Branch of Xinkengshui Village delivered a speech. On behalf of the village Party committee, village committee and all villagers, he expressed sincere gratitude to government departments at all levels and caring enterprises that have long supported the village’s development, and extended special thanks to Guangzhou Panyu Information Technology Investment & Development Co., Ltd. for its strong support and solid guarantee. He pointed out that the completed lighting project serves both as a livelihood initiative and a heartwarming project benefiting residents. Going forward, the village Party organization will properly manage and maintain public facilities, and continuously elevate rural governance and public service capabilities.

Subsequently, the relevant person in charge of the investment company stated that the enterprise will continue to fulfill its social responsibility as a state-owned enterprise, deepen village enterprise cooperation, actively participate in rural construction and livelihood programs, take practical actions to promote the implementation of the Hundred Thousand Ten Thousand Project, and contribute to the high-quality development of Xinkengshui Village.

As a practical measure to benefit residents, optimize the ecological environment and boost rural development, the lighting upgrading project fully reflects the effective collaboration and shared development between the government and enterprises. It is expected that taking this unveiling ceremony as a new starting point, Xinkengshui Village will further advance living environment improvement, perfect public supporting facilities, and strive to create a new highlight for rural revitalization.
